- President Rosen Plevneliev enters the Cluster Management Board

- In 2018, a series of initiatives are being developed to attract a large car manufacturer

- The Management Board is expanding with the participation of new companies

On November 8, 2017 in Sofia was held the Annual General meeting of Automotive Cluster Bulgaria. Rosen Plevneliev, President of Republic of Bulgaria (2012-2017), and other new members were elected as members of the Managing Board. The Board is now composed of: Rosen Plevneliev, President of the Republic of Bulgaria (2012-2017); “MAGNA POWERTRAIN PLOVDIV” ЕООD, represented by its manager Giuseppe Vona и by the proxy Slaveya Hristozova Peteva; “MELEXIS BULGARIA” ЕООD, represented by its ptoxy Silvain Raymond Bernard Collot; “FESTO” ЕООD, represented by its manager Stefan Davidkov Ivanov; “SENSATA TECHNOLOGIES BULGARIA” ЕООD, represented by its manager Tommy Ver Elst; “VISTEON ELECTRONICS BULGARIA” ЕООD,  represented by its manager Sunil Kumar Bilolikar, through the proxy Ivan Mihaylov Mihaylov – Chairman; “AUTO PARK BULGARIA” JSK, represented by the general manager Lyubomir Ognyanov Stanislavov – Vice Chairman; “ERNST & YOUNG BULGARIA” ЕООD, represented by its manager Diana Georgieva Nikolaeva-Mitrovska, through the proxy Milen Raykov; “VIENNA REAL ESTATE” ЕАD, represented by its manager Plamen Dimitrov Mitev.

A budget and a report on the activities for 2016 and 2017 were adopted at the meeting. The 2018 budget and change in the board of directors was also voted for, and an action plan for 2018 was presented. It includes new projects such as conferences and a car show to attract a car maker to build a complete production in the country, taking advantage of the Bulgarian automotive components manufacturers.
