Renault has partnered with female-founded start-up ‘She’s Electric’ to inspire women across the UK to switch to electric vehicles through a series of live events.
This July, She’s Electric will host test drive days in Worcester and Bath where attendees can experience driving the Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% Electric, which boasts a range of up to 379 miles (WLTP) and combines practicality with modern connectivity.
In addition to personalized test drives of this award-winning all-electric crossover, guests will have opportunities to explore new brands, attend ‘Empowerment Panels’ discussing various EV-related topics in an informal setting, and enjoy interviews with inspirational women during ‘She’s Unstoppable’ sessions.
These events aim to address women’s car buying concerns. Despite being set to control more than 60% of the UK’s wealth by 2025, many women are hesitant about car dealerships—70% do not trust them—and car brands—43% lack trust according to Auto Trader’s No Driver Left Behind report.
The initiative aligns perfectly with She’s Electric’s mission—a community that empowers women through engaging lifestyle experiences while supporting sustainable choices like switching confidently to electric vehicles.
“We are thrilled about our collaboration with Renault UK for our upcoming She’s Electric events,” said Rebecca Day, CEO of She’s Electric. “It’s wonderful seeing forward-thinking brands embrace empowerment and stylish sustainability.”
“Scenic has always been revolutionary,” stated Guillaume Sicard, Managing Director Renault UK. “We’re excited it plays a crucial role in helping inform more women drivers about EV benefits.”
