- Northants high-performance automotive engineering specialist, RML Group, appoints former Lotus and Bentley senior manager, Paul Dickinson, to lead operations and drive growth.

Wellingborough, Northampton, June 18, 2024: RML Group Ltd, the UK’s leading high-performance automotive engineering specialist, today announces the appointment of Paul Dickinson as Chief Operating Officer.
Dickinson (43), has held a variety of senior management roles at leading automotive manufacturers including Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) and Bentley Motors where he was Chief Commercial Officer for Mulliner, the oldest coachbuilder in the world and the centre of Bentley’s bespoke personal commissioning business. He was latterly global finance director for Group Lotus.
His appointment coincides with the announcement of major new investment in the RML Group business and the restructuring of the Group’s main engineering teams into four new divisions.
“I’m joining RML Group at a tremendously exciting time, as the business moves into a new era,” said Dickinson. “RML has a global reputation for innovative ICE and EV drive trains, bespoke vehicle manufacture, racing success and more. I’m thrilled to be joining this industry-leading team.”
There are four separate divisions within the new-look RML Group, each one staffed by dedicated engineering and development teams: Power; Engineering; Motorsport; and Bespoke, the personal commissions division.
This new structure recognises the unique needs of customers in different sectors. It now provides clients with category specific products and services.
