The Chicago Bar Association and the Alliance of Bar Associations will evaluate applicants and a committee composed of Cook County Chief Judge Timothy Evans and the presiding judges of the courts various divisions will review the applications. The Chief Judge must then notify the Director of the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts of the names of the candidates selected by the Committee and request the Director to begin the balloting process.
