2025 Mazda CX-30s drive from the Baltic to Arctic using sustainable fuel

Images are for editorial use only. To test the new 140ps e-Skyactiv G engine, 12 Mazda CX-30s drove from Malmo to Tromso. All cars on the trip were powered by SUSTAIN 100 per cent biofuel with zero fossil fuel content. The Mazda UK Heritage Fleet has been powered by sustainable fuel from SUSTAIN since June 2023. As a demonstration of Mazda’s multi-solution approach to powertrains, 12 Mazda CX-30s drove over 1,300miles across Sweden, Finland and Norway – powered exclusively by sustainable fuel to highlight the potential it has to reduce greenhouse gas emissions when used as a replacement for fossil fuels. Leaving Malmo in Sweden on the cusp of the Baltic Sea, the CX-30s drove to Tromso in Norway over 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle – reaching the Norwegian Sea coastal town after a journey of 1,344 miles powered entirely by a 100-per cent biofuel from SUSTAIN. Recently introduced to the 2025 Mazda CX-30, the 140ps e-Skyactiv D 2.5-litre petrol engine features cylinder de-activation and is coupled to Mazda’s M Hybrid mild-hybrid system, improving fuel economy and emissions in real world tests over the outgoing 2.0-litre entry-point engine in the CX-30. The introduction of this well-established engine to the 2025 Mazda CX-30 and 2025 Mazda3 line-up is part of Mazda’s multi-solution approach to powertrains, where we continue to develop petrol and diesel engines as well as hybrids, plug-in-hybrids, mild-hybrids and battery electric vehicles. This engine development blended with electrification is a well-established example of Mazda’s powertrain innovation enhancing vehicle efficiency. This approach is well-suited to a compelling alternative to fossil fuels that is now gaining traction – offering a way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, alongside efficient electrified combustion engines. The Baltic to Arctic drive is just one example of Mazda’s commitment to demonstrate the role sustainable fuel can play in the transition away from fossil fuel. Mazda UK has powered its Heritage Fleet with sustainable fuel since 2023, while the same year an MX-5 was the first car to complete a lap of a racing circuit in all four UK home nations while sustainably fuelled and last year a quartet of MX-5s became the first cars to drive from Land’s End to John O’ Groats using sustainable fuel. All of these activities took place using fuel from SUSTAIN and they demonstrated the role sustainable fuels can play in transitioning modern and classic cars away from fossil fuel. They also highlight how sustainable fuels could complement Mazda’s Multi-Solution approach to achieving climate neutrality. The CX-30s on this trip across Sweden, Finland and Norway to the top of Europe, were powered by a 100 per cent second-generation biofuel, manufactured by SUSTAIN. Made from sustainable components manufactured from agricultural waste that would not otherwise be used for animal or human consumption, these biofuels utilise the carbon that already exists in our atmosphere, captured by plants as they grow and then re-released in the internal combustion process. This contrasts with fossil fuels which release additional Co2 that is currently locked underground. For more information on SUSTAIN please see Editor’s Notes below.Averaging more than 40mpg across the drive, the 2025 Mazda CX-30 e-Skyactiv G cars required no modification to run on the sustainable fuel, again highlighting the flexible nature of this solution. Commenting on the drive, Jeremy Thomson, Managing Director, Mazda Motors UK, said: “at Mazda we will continue to develop the internal combustion engine to meet consumer demand in parallel with our battery electric development, as part of our multi-solution approach. In Japan we are researching and developing engines to run on biofuel as well as algae fuels and synthetic fuels, and in Europe we are a member of the e-fuel alliance”. Adding, “our drive to the very north of Europe demonstrates the capability of the Mazda CX-30 in extreme conditions and the benefits of the internal combustion engine and advanced biofuels. In total we will have saved approximately 317kg of CO2 per car on a 1300-mile journey by using SUSTAIN advanced biofuel”. David Richardson, Director at SUSTAIN, said: “working with Mazda on this drive from the Baltic to the Arctic on 100% sustainable biofuel is something we’re extremely proud of. Electric vehicles are increasing in numbers, but there are still many millions of combustion engine cars on our roads. Activities like this help show how easily we can reduce the emissions from those vehicles, promoting this option to the many people who still don’t know what sustainable fuels are or how they work. If we want to make the most of this technology, we need to raise awareness, address the misunderstandings and secure support from those in power to enable sustainable fuel production to be scaled up, which could happen relatively quickly. After all, there is no silver bullet solution to tackle the environmental impact of the automotive sector – it’s time we start using all the available technologies to give us the best chance to make a real difference.” – Ends – Notes for Editors SUSTAIN was launched by Coryton, part of the ASPEN Group, in 2021 as part of its mission to create a cleaner future. The pioneering brand focuses on developing fuels with sustainable components that contribute towards the push for net zero impact, without compromising on performance or engine protection. From biofuels to e-fuels, the SUSTAIN range uses a combination of the latest sustainable technologies as they mature. The fuels currently derive predominantly from second-generation biofuels manufactured from agricultural waste, such as straw, by-products or waste from crops which wouldn’t be used for consumption. This material utilises the carbon that already exists in our atmosphere, which the plants absorb as they grow, recycling it, rather than releasing additional CO2, as fossil fuels do. Through products such as SUSTAIN Racing and SUSTAIN Classic, SUSTAIN has already celebrated some fantastic milestones in the motoring industry and it plans to continue this success long into the future. Tested in the deserts of the Dakar Rally to the waters of Windermere, the fuels are designed to meet the performance…

The grandmaster’s choice: Introducing the Rolls-Royce Chess Set

Images are for editorial use only. Rolls-Royce presents the Chess Set, designed to be enjoyed in clients’ homes Opens in a single theatrical motion, echoing the sense of occasion of a Rolls-Royce Features hidden drawers and sculptural, ceramic-coated magnetised pieces Crafted with meticulous attention to detail; the result of one year of design, engineering and experimentation Available in four veneer finishes, with a choice of 13 leather colours Celebrates and elevates the strategy game enjoyed by many Rolls-Royce clients “We are in the privileged position of knowing our clients personally. These relationships – and the unique insights they provide into our clients’ worlds, tastes, and preferences – inform everything we do at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Knowing that many clients enjoy chess — often at an extremely high level — we were inspired to create our own Chess Set as a natural evolution of the sense of hosting and occasion that defines the Rolls-Royce experience. Incorporating materials and the meticulous craft techniques our clients know and love from their motor car, the Chess Set is a discreet, beautiful, and authentic extension of our brand into their homes. It serves as a contemporary work of art in its own right, as well as a practical, playable game.”Nick Abrams, Accessories Designer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Rolls-Royce Motor Cars presents the Rolls-Royce Chess Set, a contemporary expression of one of the world’s most revered games of strategy that transcends cultures and generations, echoing the spirit of hosting and shared experience that defines the marque’s other lifestyle offerings. The chess pieces are ceremoniously unveiled, capturing the same sense of occasion as the arrival of a Rolls-Royce motor car. Handcrafted using the marque’s signature materials and techniques, it offers numerous opportunities for individualisation. HIDDEN DRAWERS AND MAGNETISED PIECESThe Chess Set was designed to capture a sense of movement: the leather-clad base rises gently from the centre, referencing the waft lines of the marque’s motor cars as it appears to float on its narrow footprint. The playing board opens in a smooth, single theatrical motion to reveal a leather-lined holder that slowly elevates, presenting the magnetically held pieces – a movement reminiscent of the coach doors opening on a Rolls-Royce motor car. For an effortless experience, magnets hidden beneath the playing surface ensure the pieces remain perfectly aligned during play, lending each move a sense of precision and decisiveness. The design team experimented with six different types of magnets to identify the optimal strength that secures the pieces yet allows them to float effortlessly across the board. A discreet drawer on each side of the board, opened with a light touch, contains an additional queen to take the place of a piece that has been promoted during the game. Both the generously sized board and the chess piece holder are framed with polished aluminium edges. A polished aluminium Spirit of Ecstasy emblem is discreetly affixed to the front and back of the Chess Set, signifying its provenance. Each set is meticulously crafted by hand. The aluminium grid of the board is machine milled, then further refined by hand to achieve the precise definition of the corners – a delicate process, as the fine metal bends easily. The veneer squares are laser cut and then precisely placed on the board by hand. Each of the veneer pieces is crafted from the same log to achieve a consistent pattern in the natural grain, ensuring the wood will age uniformly over the years. THE CHESS PIECES: MONOLITHIC FORMSEvery chess piece has been precision-crafted with faceted surfaces, transforming them into sculptural objects in their own right. To create the pieces, the marque’s designers studied the profile of traditional chess pieces, electing to extrude them downward into square bases. Each of the highly sculptural pieces is made of ceramic-coated aluminium, contains a hidden magnet and is crowned with a jewel-like polished stainless-steel head. The weight, solidity and cool-to-the-touch tactility of them are deliberately evocative of the solid-metal organ stops found in Rolls-Royce motor cars — a shared expression of material authenticity and satisfying mechanical engagement. The black chess pieces are given a satin finish, while the white pieces feature a subtle iridescent treatment. EXQUISITE MATERIALS FROM THE ROLLS-ROYCE PALETTEThe Rolls-Royce Chess Set incorporates the same materials used to craft the interior of the marque’s motor cars. The playing board is available in a choice of four veneer combinations, each arranged to create a diamond pattern when viewed from above. Around the playing surface, a longitudinal grain is used. High-gloss finishes include Blackwood with Ceramic White and Macassar Ebony with Royal Walnut; Open Pore veneer treatments in Smoked Eucalyptus with Paldao and Obsidian Ayous with Blackwood are also available. Elements of the Chess Set can be individualised to reflect the client’s personal style and the aesthetics of their home. Clients can select from 13 Rolls-Royce leather colours — Cashmere Grey, Phoenix Red, Charles Blue, Forge Yellow, Iceland Moss, Scivaro Grey, Arctic White, Havana, Tailored Purple, Mandarin, Peony Pink, Black, and Lime Green — allowing them to tailor both the exterior and the chess piece holder to their exact requirements. The Rolls-Royce Chess Set is now available for commission in Rolls-Royce showrooms and Private Office boutiques. – ENDS – FURTHER INFORMATIONYou can find all our press releases and press kits, as well as a wide selection of high resolution, downloadable photographs and video footage at our media website, PressClub. From tractor to track: Goodwood Revival to celebrate Jim Clark’s life and career

Images are for editorial use only. The incomparable Jim Clark – twice Formula 1 World Champion and winner of the 1965 Indy 500 – to be honoured at Goodwood Revival in a year which sees a number of significant anniversaries for the driver. Goodwood to gather cars representing the full breadth of his racing career, and be joined by family, friends, fellow drivers and team members for a special moment on Saturday. Goodwood Revival takes place Friday 12 – Sunday 14 September. Early bird tickets available at goodwood.com. Goodwood is honoured to announce that this year’s Revival will celebrate the extraordinary life and career of Jim Clark – the Scottish farmer who is widely regarded as the most naturally gifted driver of all time. 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of Clark’s greatest season – indeed, arguably the greatest season by any driver in history. As well as winning six Grands Prix en route to his second World Championship, he also became the first driver to win the Indy 500 in a rear-engined car, and the first to do so at an average speed of more than 150mph. He remains the only driver to win the F1 World Championship and Indy 500 in the same season. Not only that, but he won the Tasman Cup (a single-seater series in Australia and New Zealand, run during the European winter and contested by the leading F1 teams and drivers), the French and British Formula 2 Championships, and races in everything from touring cars to sports prototypes. Alongside these achievements, Jim Clark also won the final Formula 1 race at Goodwood, on Easter Monday 1965. This Saturday (19 April) marks the 60th anniversary, to the day, of that race, during which Clark, in a Lotus 25, also shared the lap record of 1m20.4 with his fellow Scot Jackie Stewart, in a BRM P261. Their joint time was never beaten, before the circuit closed to racing in July 1966, and so stands in perpetuity as the classic Goodwood lap record. Remarkably, on the same day he won the Sunday Mirror Trophy Formula 1 race, Clark also won the St Marys Trophy (a round of the British Saloon Car Championship) in a Lotus Cortina, and the Lavant Cup sports prototype race in a Lotus 30! His driving that day epitomised the virtuosity and versatility he exhibited across the whole season. Jim Clark, who tragically died in an accident during a Formula 2 race at Hockenheim on 7 April 1968, ended his career with a then-record 25 victories and 33 pole positions from just 72 Grands Prix. Even now, six decades later, he still holds the record for the most ‘Grand Slams’ in Formula 1, when a driver takes pole position, victory, fastest lap, and leads every lap. Clark’s record of eight is two more than his nearest rival, Lewis Hamilton, whose score of six has come from 361 races! Despite his extraordinary achievements as a driver, Jim Clark remained a humble farmer at heart, and liked nothing more than spending time on his farm, Edington Mains, near the village of Chirnside in the Scottish Borders, where he grew up. Even as he was winning World Championships and the Indy 500, and appearing on the cover of Time Magazine (as he did after his Indy win in 1965), he would return to Edington between races. We look forward to celebrating all aspects of the remarkable achievements and legacy of Jim Clark – “farmer and world champion motor racing driver”, as the inscription on his gravestone reads – which, to this day, remain at the heart of motorsport at Goodwood. Sir Jackie Stewart, three-time World Champion and joint Goodwood lap record holder said: “Jim Clark was not only a first-class racer, but he was a first-class friend. Jimmy and I enjoyed so much camaraderie both on and off the track and I am personally so pleased that Goodwood are choosing to celebrate this great man in this way”. The Duke of Richmond CBE DL said: “It’s such a privilege to celebrate Jim Clark at the Goodwood Revival this year. His achievements in 1965 are the stuff of legend, including uniquely winning the Formula 1 World Championship and Indy 500 in the same season. I vividly remember watching him win the final F1 race at Goodwood, on Easter Monday 1965, in which he and Jackie Stewart set the ultimate Goodwood lap record. Having such strong links to Goodwood, and in a year that marks several significant anniversaries, we are hugely proud to be paying tribute to Jim Clark – considered by some to be the greatest driver of all time– over the Revival weekend.” Doug Niven, Jim Clark’s cousin, and a family trustee of the Jim Clark Trust, said: “The Jim Clark Trust is delighted to support the Jim Clark tribute at the Goodwood Revival in September. Along with my fellow family trustee Ian Calder (Jim’s nephew) I attended the Revival in 2013, when the Duke of Richmond formally launched the Jim Clark Trust – of which he is still a patron. 1965 was such a special year for Jim, and we look forward to celebrating his life and career at Goodwood in September, as well as at our own event, at Duns Castle on 28-29 June.” Taking place across the weekend, the tribute to Jim Clark joins the previously announced all-sustainable fuel race list, VW Type 2 Split Screen track opening parade, Alfa Romeo celebration and the opportunity to see Jenson Button go head-to-head in the RAC TT. The investment, from IQ Capital, LocalGlobe and new strategic partners from the automotive industry, follows Nyobolt hitting $9 million+ in revenues in 2024 and successful tests to charge an EV to 80 per cent in under five minutes Nyobolt’s fast-charge systems are now deployed in heavy-duty vehicles and AI warehouses with over $150m in contract value secured – other automotive applications are set to follow Download high resolution images here Boston, US and Cambridge, UK, 16th April: Nyobolt, the pioneer of high-power ultrafast charging technologies, has raised $30 million in funding, led by IQ Capital and Latitude, the sister fund of LocalGlobe, with strategic partners including Scania Invest and Takasago Industry. The funding, which brings the total raised to $100m, will accelerate the advancement of Nyobolt’s proprietary technology, fuel market expansion, grow its team and cement its position as the industry leader in ultra-fast power systems. Nyobolt’s high power and quick recharge cycles address barriers to EV adoption in automotive and heavy-duty vehicle applicationsThe investment, including from partner Scania Invest, will support the ongoing deployment of Nyobolt’s high-power density, fast-charging battery technology in production vehicle applications. Following successful demonstrations using its own 35kWh EV demonstrator, achieving a 10-80 per cent charge in just under five minutes, Nyobolt has begun deploying innovative low impedance cell design and software controls to support the electrification of high-uptime, heavy-duty vehicles. Nyobolt’s compelling advantages are driving growing interest in passenger car applications, including retrofitting to existing vehicle platforms. Its technology and systems offer customer convenience and longevity, plus enable OEMs to specify a smaller battery size with the associated efficiency and lower costs through smaller, lighter packs. Powering critical industries with unmatched performanceInterest outside automotive is also rising for the Cambridge business. Power-intensive sectors such as AI automation and data centres are under increasing pressure to cut emissions while also keeping systems running 24/7. At the same time, only 20 per cent of solutions across these sectors are currently electrified. Meanwhile, data centre outages alone average $9,000 per minute in lost revenue, while new GPU-powered AI data centres are disrupting the quality of life for nearby communities, threatening billions of dollars’ worth of damage. Trafic, Estafette and Goelette, the first Renault Software Defined Vehicles (SDV) by Ampere

Images are for editorial use only. The three new electric LCVs by Renault will be the first to feature the flexible, scalable architecture developed by Ampere around the SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) This innovative approach marks the start of a new era in the design, perception and use of LCVs Trafic, Estafette and Goelette will be presented on 29 April at the CV Show in Birmingham Spearheading a new generation of electric vehicles, Trafic, Estafette and Goelette overturn conventional cues in this segment to become the first brand vehicles featuring the flexible, scalable architecture developed by Ampere around the Software Defined Vehicle (SDV). A NEW APPROACH TO VEHICLE DESIGNBefore now, vehicles were designed around a chassis and an ICE or electric powertrain. Manufacturers would then add on all the electronic features and pre-equipment packs required for the various functions and versions. This approach to vehicle design involved a huge number of ECUs – up to 80 per vehicle – with a limiting effect on performance and the integration of new features. Implementing an approach similar to the most powerful computers, Ampere has based its new SDV approach on a single platform with centralised software architecture and a connected, intelligent operating system to control, analyse and upgrade vehicle functions quickly and reliably. High-performance computers act as the vehicle’s brain, processing the data collected by the onboard sensors, and in particular by the driver aids (ADAS), powertrain, chassis control and multimedia/connectivity services. These computers can be upgraded with new functions to modernise the vehicle or extend its service life, using the car operating system or “CAR OS”, designed by Ampere. Designed and developed by Ampere engineers, this revolutionary approach redefines existing standards. It will be made available first to Trafic, Estafette and Goelette users. A VEHICLE CUSTOMISED FOR EVERY USERBusiness users will be able to upgrade their vehicle, just as they would their laptop or phone, adding new functions in real time throughout its service life. Personalised offers could be made available, reflecting the actual usage and driving habits of each individual. In this way, the experience could be enhanced for business users, with functions tailored to their activity and requirements: Vehicles with specific functions, such as ambulances, fire engines, police vehicles, refrigerated vehicles and other conversions, could include dedicated apps for unique, centralised operation of each component. A similar approach is implemented by openR link with convertor companion, an award-winning innovation available on Renault Master, but with the added intelligence of the SDV; Companies using their own operating system, to make deliveries for example, will be able to integrate their OS with the onboard multimedia system in order to send out information in real time (time, route, contacts, remarks, etc.) to delivery drivers on their rounds; Fleet users will be able to log in to their profile and access a personalised interface with their preferred vehicle settings and apps. GREATER SAFETYAlready available on existing vehicles, predictive maintenance will become even more precise with the infinitely greater computing capacity and intelligence of SDV architecture. This will make it possible to track the wear and tear of some parts in real time and to initiate remote diagnostics in order to plan for repairs or take direct corrective action where possible. This feature will be particularly useful for fleet managers, allowing them to optimise costs, uptime and vehicle availability. HIGHER VALUEBeing able to update software defined vehicles over the cloud will bring benefits not only in terms of the driving and onboard experience, but also in terms of vehicle value. In practical terms, this means that a vehicle that is three or four years old will lose less of its value, since it will have been enhanced with new functions. This means a higher residual value. This “anti-wrinkle” is particularly useful for LCVs. As well as having a far longer service life and are subject to more intensive use than passenger cars. Developed in partnership with Flexis and built in France at the Renault Sandouville plant, Trafic, Estafette and Goelette will be presented on 29 April 2025 at 9:00 am (UTC) at the CV Show in Birmingham. Dirty diesel still dominates, BEV market share down: When will UK Government give retrofit a chance?

Images are for editorial use only. Retrofitting specialists BEDEO warn that the UK’s failure to support fleet electrification is locking in diesel dependency and jeopardising net-zero goals SMMT figures show UK demand for new vans shrunk for the fourth consecutive month, with just 318 BEV large vans (3.5-4.25t) sold and BEV equating to just 8.2 per cent market share The government fell nearly 50 per cent short of its 2024 Zero Emission Van (ZEV) mandate target, achieving just 5.7 per cent zero-emission van registrations instead of 10 per cent Battery-electric van sales are declining while diesel registrations surged by 10.5 per cent across the EU, proving current policies are failing to drive change Retrofitting is a proven, cost-effective way to slash emissions immediately, yet the UK Government refuses to back it, unlike France, which actively support conversion schemes With UK vans lasting an average of 9.8 years, diesel-powered vans will continue polluting beyond 2040 unless retrofitting is embraced as an urgent solution BEDEO is calling on policymakers to act now – fleet operators need real options, and BEDEO’s retrofit technology is ready to cut emissions and keep businesses moving today For more information, please visit: bedeo.tech Farnham, 16 April 2025:BEDEO, a leader in fleet electrification and retrofit technology, fears its warnings on the path to net-zero for the large van industry are falling on deaf ears as the latest report from The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA)1 shows that 90.5 per cent of all vans in Europe still run on diesel, with the UK having an even scarier penetration of 94 per cent. The UK fell short of its 2024 Zero Emission Van (ZEV) mandate, achieving just 5.7 per cent instead of the 10 per cent target2. It shows no sign of improving, as last month the UK experienced a decline in van sales for the fourth consecutive month. Despite the continued availability of the plug-in van grant, battery electric vehicles (BEVs) accounted for just 8.2 per cent of the market share in March 2025. While this represents a year-on-year increase, only 318 large BEV vans (3.5-4.25t) were sold during this period – a concerning figure considering the nation’s reliance on these vehicles. These market stats come directly from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), issued on Friday 4 April3. With vans responsible for 40 per cent4 of logistics emissions and 4.6 million on the roads5, BEDEO warns that declining electric van adoption and continued diesel reliance will stall emissions cuts. Despite this, the UK Government still blocks retrofitting existing vans with electric powertrains; a move BEDEO deems crucial for progress. “Van fleet operators need real options – not just the choice between new large electric vans or nothing. Retrofitting extends the lifespan of existing large vans, keeps businesses moving, and drastically reduces emissions without breaking the bank. Not to mention that it [retrofitting] does all this without impacting payload, which we know is a real problem for managers of large van fleets,” said Osman Boyner, Founder and CEO of BEDEO. “If we look at the average age of light commercial vehicles in the EU and UK – the oldest belonging to Greece at an impressive 21.1 years, and 9.8 in the UK (and rising)1 – we can surmise that the 2035 phase out of new fossil-fuelled vehicles won’t make much of a dent to carbon reductions if pre-existing vehicles using petrol and diesel continue to pollute for decades after the ban. In fact, this will continue well past 20406. “To put this into perspective, in 2024, van vehicle miles racked up 58.7 billion miles7, and in general, vans in the UK are responsible for 18 per cent8 of all vehicle miles. That’s a fair amount of greenhouse gases. It’s time for our UK Government to support real-world solutions instead of ignoring the practical challenges large van fleets face. I fear we’ll look back and wish we had taken action today, and looked at a viable solution that’s available today – retrofitting – and not ignoring its ability to decarbonise.” Despite the urgent need for change, government policy remains fixated on new vehicle sales rather than real-world solutions that would have an immediate impact. With 57 per cent of UK vans being purchased new5 and the remaining fleet continuing to rely on diesel, the lack of incentives for retrofitting is a major missed opportunity. France has already embraced retrofitting with government-backed incentives, proving that it is a viable and scalable option. Retrofitting can cost up to 50 per cent less than purchasing a new large battery-electric van9, prevents unnecessary vehicle scrappage, and cuts emissions immediately. Yet instead of supporting this proven solution, the UK Government’s approach continues to leave fleet operators with limited, costly alternatives. The recent 10.5 per cent year-on-year increase in diesel van registrations across the EU10 suggests that companies are rushing to secure diesel-powered vans before regulatory bans take effect, further entrenching diesel’s dominance, and locking in emissions for years to come. As government targets continue to be missed, BEDEO urges policymakers to take immediate action. The transition to sustainable transport cannot rely solely on new vehicle sales – it must include practical, scalable solutions that work for businesses today, like retrofitting. The industry needs action, not just ambition. Retrofitting is ready to bridge the gap, and policymakers must now play their part in making it a widespread reality. BEDEO remains committed to driving the conversation forward and working with businesses to make fleet electrification accessible and achievable today – not decades from now. – Ends – Notes to Editors 1 Vehicles on European Roads, January 2025 2 Vehicle licensing statistics, GOV.UK 3 UK demand for new vans shrinks for fourth month running 4 McKinsey & Company “Decarbonizing logistics: Charting the path ahead” 5 UK Van Driver Statistics 6 La Librairie: Etude Retrofit 7 Provisional road traffic estimates, Great Britain, GOV.UK 8 Transport and environment statistics, GOV.UK 9 BEDEO survey data 10 ACEA: New commercial vehicle registrations About BEDEOBEDEO (formerly BD Auto) has…
