The Automotive Industry Meets the Executive Power

International Event

On July 26, 2024, Automotive Cluster Bulgaria and the Association of Automobile Manufacturers organized the event “The Automotive Industry Meets the Executive Power”. The event took place in Sofia Tech Park and aimed to strengthen the dialogue between automotive companies and the state. Over 100 representatives from both associations participated in the forum. Official guests were the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Rumen Radev, the Minister of Innovation, Ms. Milena Stoycheva, and the Deputy Minister of Innovation, Mr. Georgi Angelov. Partners of the event were First Investment Bank and Marsh McLennan, who actively supported the event and committed to continuing their contributions to the development of the automotive industry in the country. The companies` commitment contributed to the success of the event and highlighted the importance of partnerships between the private sector and organizations supporting Bulgaria’s industrial growth.

Accelerating Innovation: Unveiling Bulgaria’s Automotive Software Power

International Event

This joint event by Mr. Andrey Kovatchev, Ms. Eva Maydell, and Automotive Cluster Bulgaria took place on June 18, 2024 at the European Parliament, and spotlighted the incredible strides Bulgaria is making in the automotive software industry. The event was officially opened by the Members of the European Parliament Mr. Andrey Kovatchev and Ms. Eva Maydell, and Ms. Iliana Ivanova – European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth. The program included presentations of the leading software companies Visteon, Digital Lights, Bosch Engineering Center Sofia and Turbulence Technology, as well as of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria. The forum not only provided a platform for sharing breakthroughs and success stories in the automotive software sector, but also gave opportunities for the Bulgarian companies to establish new partnerships with international organizations.

Automotive Forum Bulgaria 2024

International Event

On June 11-13, 2024, in Sofia, Bulgaria, Automotive Cluster Bulgaria held its largest annual event, the international conference Automotive Forum Bulgaria 2024. Organized in partnership with the Bulgarian Investment Agency, the Association of Car Manufacturers and Their Authorized Representatives for Bulgaria, and the law firm Kinstellar, the forum explored the latest industry trends and breakthroughs. More than 50 internationally renowned speakers participated, sharing their expertise and vision for the future of the industry. The first day of the Forum focused on the development of EV batteries. The second day of the event was dedicated to automotive manufacturing technologies such as automation, robotics, and digitalization, and sustainable mobility. The third day of the Forum addressed artificial intelligence and software in the automotive industry.

Cluster Booster Academy 2024

International Event

On 11-12 March 2024, the European Cluster Collaboration Platform organized the in-person training of the 3rd Cluster Booster Academy. The two-day event was held in Bulgaria for the very first time and was hosted by Automotive Cluster Bulgaria. This year`s edition of the Cluster Booster Academy brought together 45 cluster employees and managers from all over Europe. Through collaborative training, discussions and matchmaking sessions, the participants had the opportunity to enhance their practical skills and knowledge, to exchange ideas on implementing efficient tools and strategies for sustainable future of the clusters, as well as to explore potential synergies. Within the event, Automotive Cluster Bulgaria introduced the participants with the development of the automotive industry in Bulgaria and showcased its innovative projects and success stories of the automotive companies in Bulgaria.
