Get Lost: Project Safari – A ground-up reimagining of the Elise S1

Images are for editorial use only. Get Lost launches as a new automotive brand, founded by photographer GFWilliams, and built around the simple pursuit of creating a car that’s fun. Get Lost: Project Safari is a ground-up reimagining of the Elise S1 – combining rally attitude, road trip capability, and bespoke design. Every detail is designed or engineered with quality and intent – from the hydraulic handbrake to the roof scoop – to enhance the character and capability of the entire car. Get Lost: Project Safari is the first vehicle from Get Lost, with customer builds due to start later this year. April 15th, Surrey – Get Lost is proud to unveil Project Safari – the first vehicle from the new automotive design and engineering brand. A bold, ground-up reinterpretation of the iconic Elise S1, Project Safari blends rally-inspired capability, road trip practicality, and design-led innovation into a single, uncompromising package. Founded by renowned automotive photographer GFWilliams, Get Lost is the result of over a decade immersed in the world’s most exceptional cars. That industry experience shaped a vision: a car that delivers emotional connection through design, engineering, and a relentless pursuit of fun. Bringing that vision to life is a passionate, multidisciplinary team drawn from motorsport, design studios, and fabrication. Together, they’ve created something that not only breaks the rules, but makes you wonder why they were there in the first place. The Design:Get Lost: Project Safari began with a deep study of the original car’s form and function – not to overwrite what made it special, but to reimagine it without constraints. “The idea of taking an Elise off-road might sound ridiculous, and that’s exactly why we leaned into it,” says George Williams, founder of Get Lost. “That one silly idea gave us real creative freedom. Every element was considered from the ground up, not just to look good in isolation, but to enhance the character and capability of the entire car.” Get Lost: Project Safari contrasts the Elise’s fluid curves with sharp, deliberate design choices. Highlights include a custom roof scoop, bespoke rectangular headlights, and a completely redesigned interior using the highest quality materials – all contributing to a new identity while respecting the car’s roots. The Build:“It wasn’t enough for the car to look good – it had to be brilliant to drive too.” said George. Get Lost: Project Safari runs all-terrain tyres, as well as a completely bespoke suspension system, offering increased ride height and width while refining the body control to inspire confidence to always push on. A new powertrain also delivers strong, reliable performance, while key functional upgrades – including a limited-slip differential, and a hydraulic handbrake – contribute to the car’s uniquely playful character. The result? A car designed in form and function for fun adventures. “This is not a modified Elise, it’s our interpretation of what the platform had to offer. Everything has been considered – from the design to the drive – all in the pursuit of creating something that’s fun,” says George Williams. “If you get it, you get us. If not? Get Lost.” Get Lost: Project Safari is the first vehicle from Get Lost, with customer builds due to start later this year. Get Lost is now welcoming letters of interest from customers, collaborators, and anyone who sees themselves in this vision. Polestar Annual Sustainability Report announces a 25% cut in emissions per sold car

Images are for editorial use only. GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN – 15 April 2025. Polestar’s fourth Annual Sustainability report announces significant GHG reductions, updates on the Polestar 0 project and a continued quest for increased transparency and more sustainable materials. Since the Company started measuring in 2020, Polestar has reduced its carbon footprint per sold car with a quarter (24.7%). The most significant contributing factors to this achievement include an increased use of low-carbon aluminium in all models, improvements in battery manufacturing, 100% renewable electricity in the manufacture of all models and more efficient logistics combined with increased use of biofuels on certain ocean routes. Michael Lohscheller, Polestar CEO, says: “Polestar has shown that it is possible to decouple growth from climate impact. In simple terms, we aim to continue to cut emissions as we accelerate sales. Even though much in the world seems to be going in the wrong direction, we are doubling down on our commitments. When the world zigs, Polestar zags.” The Polestar 0 project was launched in 2021, as a moonshot goal to create a climate neutral car, aimed at galvanising a sense of urgency and accelerating collaborative research, supporting Polestar’s goal of becoming climate neutral by 2040. Today, the project partners and Polestar are proud to announce that across the companies’ combined initiatives, important low carbon solutions have been identified, showing the potential to produce a Polestar 2 with a 10 tonnes lower carbon footprint than when the project started*. The largest contributions are within aluminium and steel manufacturing, key materials for decarbonisation as they represent around 45% of the total cradle-to gate carbon footprint of Polestar 2. Moving into its next stage, the structure of the Polestar 0 project will shift, with areas that require further research serving as input to the Mission 0 House*, a Polestar-initiated but collaboratively driven and funded research centre. Located in Gothenburg, the research hub hosts scientists from academia and engineers from industry, who work side by side, towards elimination of GHG emissions in materials, products and processes. As a key principle, the ambition is to consider commercialisation of future potential solutions developed by the Mission 0 House. Circularity, Inclusion and Transparency remain key areas. Polestar joined the Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance (IRMA) and continued the expansion of onsite audits in high-risk regions. Traceability of risk materials was expanded to include the mapping of manganese, among others. Polestar continues its efforts to increase both data availability and share of recycled content from car programs to model year upgrades and Polestar 4 now contains 10% recycled material. Aston Martin Valkyrie primed for European debut as FIA World Endurance Championship returns to Imola

Images are for editorial use only. Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar set for European race debut as FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) continues in Italy Valkyrie is the only hypercar to contest the world’s two premier sportscar series, the WEC and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, in 2025 The Aston Martin THOR Team continues preparations to take the Wings back to the 24 Hours of Le Mans to fight for its first overall victory since 1959 All-British line-up, Harry Tincknell and Tom Gamble will race Valkyrie #007 Three-time FIA WEC GT champion Marco Sørensen and Alex Riberas will drive Valkyrie #009 15 April, 2025, Imola, Italy: The latest thrilling chapter in Aston Martin’s great sporting story continues this weekend, as the British ultra-luxury sportscar brand’s Valkyrie hypercar makes its European race debut at the second round of the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the 6 Hours of Imola. The first ‘Le Mans Hypercar’ (LMH) to be produced by Aston Martin, Valkyrie is the only car in the WEC’s premier category derived from a road-legal hypercar. Its global debut, masterminded by the works Aston Martin THOR team in at the Qatar 1812km of Qatar in February, began an historic season for the British machine. Valkyrie is the only LMH to compete in both the FIA WEC and in North America’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and scored a top-10 finish on its US debut at the 12 Hours of Sebring – renowned as North America’s toughest endurance race – in March. Developed by Aston Martin and THOR from the Valkyrie production model, the LMH version blends a race-optimised carbon fibre chassis with a modified 6.5-litre, V12 powerplant that revs to 11,000rpm and produces over 1000bhp in standard form, but adheres to a strict 500kw (680bhp) regulation power limit. Valkyrie positions Aston Martin – present in the FIA WEC every year since the series’ inception in 2012 and one of its most successful manufacturers with 11 championship titles – in contention to challenge for a first outright victory at the world’s greatest race, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, since Carroll Shelby (USA) and Roy Salvadori (GBR) triumphed in the Aston Martin DBR1 in 1959. As Imola’s race lasts six hours – the traditional length for an FIA WEC event – rather than the 10 of the Qatar event, both the #007 and #009 Valkyries will feature two-driver line-ups rather than the trios that competed at the opener. The #007 Valkyrie comprises an all-British line-up as Harry Tincknell, the 2016 European Le Mans Series (ELMS) overall champion and 2020 Le Mans LMGT3 winner, is joined by rising star Tom Gamble, the ELMS LMP3 title-winner in 2020. Tincknell’s first sportscar victory came in the ELMS at Imola in 2014, while Gamble was a podium-finisher there in the same series in 2022. Marco Sørensen (DEN), three times an FIA WEC title-winner in GT classes, is joined in the sister #009 Valkyrie by long-time THOR racer Alex Riberas (ESP); part of the team’s FIA WEC LMGT3-winning line-up at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) last year and of the crew that finished fourth in the class at last year’s Imola race. Harry Tincknell, driver #007 Aston Martin Valkyrie: “I’m looking forward to Imola. It’s an iconic track and one at which I’ve had some good successes – including my first sportscar win. It’s been a steep learning curve since Qatar, as we knew it would be with a brand-new programme, but we’ve had some good tests since, learned a lot and the car finishing where it did at Sebring [on its IMSA debut] was really encouraging. Testing has shown that we’ve improved our processes and I’m sure that if we can have a good, reliable race then we’ll learn even more and put ourselves in an improved situation for the run-in to Le Mans.” Tom Gamble, driver #007 Aston Martin Valkyrie: “I can’t wait for the second round of WEC at Imola, we had many positives from the opening round and I’m looking forward to continuing our progress with the Valkyrie. The team has put in a lot of hard work so fingers crossed we can get a strong result.” Marco Sørensen, driver #009 Aston Martin Valkyrie: “Imola is an iconic place for a race and has a lot of atmosphere, plus the characterstics of the circuit and the challenges they create means it will be a good test for the car. The target is to improve on what we achieved in Qatar and during this first year for Valkyrie, that will always be the case. We aim to continue in the right direction and I’m really looking forward to getting on track.” Alex Riberas, driver #009 Aston Martin Valkyrie: “Imola is one of the most special tracks in the world history-wise and in terms of what it means to motorsport fans. I’m looking forward to making another step with Valkyrie. Everybody’s been working so hard since Qatar and I have all the confidencee that we can continue to make strides forward. We have to remember though that Imola is a very different type of circuit to Qatar so we will see how the Valkyrie fits the layout and how we deal with potential weather changes like we experienced last year. I cannot wait to get on track.” Ian James, Team Principal, Aston Martin THOR Team: “Valkyrie has now completed three race weekends and each session we have run has given us more valuable information about the car and how it behaves. Of course, as a team, we are learning all the time about the car and operationally, so the objective this weekend is to minimize mistakes, maximise potential and come away with both cars finishing the race. Imola is a very different track to the ones we have raced on so far, and it offers new challenges, which at this stage of the programme is most welcome as we begin to build towards Le Mans.” Adam Carter, Aston Martin Head of Endurance Motorsport: “Valkyrie has…

Business class travel at its best: The new A6 Saloon

Images are for editorial use only. Progressive premium-class model sets standards in design and aerodynamics: 0.23 drag coefficient is the best ever achieved by an ICE-equipped Audi Excellent qualities for everyday driving and long distances: cutting-edge suspension technologies and impressive aeroacoustics Dynamic, comfortable, efficient: MHEV plus mild hybrid technology enables partially electric driving and enhances driving performance Two engine options available from launch: 2.0 TDI and 2.0 TFSI UK line-up comprises Sport, S line, and Edition 1 specifications On sale from May 13, 2025 priced from £50,560 (OTR) with first deliveries due start of July For additional information please visit https://press.audi.co.uk/en-gb/ Ingolstadt/Neckarsulm, April 15, 2025 – Audi is expanding its A6 model series with an elegant saloon that raises the bar for design, innovation, aerodynamics and comfort. The streamlined body of the new A6 Saloon achieves the lowest drag coefficient ever recorded by a series-production Audi model with a combustion engine, creating the optimal environment for a new generation of even more efficient TFSI and TDI engines. Suspension options that strike an exceptional balance between comfort and control, and a wealth of advanced new infotainment and driver assistance technologies, also contribute to a driving experience that brings the A6 emphatically back to the fore in its class. The A6 Saloon goes on sale in the UK on May 13, 2025 with Sport, S line and Edition 1 specification options priced from £50,560 (OTR), and will arrive with its first customers in start of July. Audi CEO Gernot Döllner said: “The new Audi A6 Saloon unites an elegant, dynamic design with exceptional aerodynamics. Efficient yet high-performance drive systems and cutting-edge suspension technology combine sportiness with a high level of comfort, making traveling in the A6 a first-class experience.” With this model, the company is also continuing its major product initiative that began in 2024. The modernisation and rejuvenation of the product portfolio is part of the Audi Agenda, with which Audi is positioning itself for the future in the face of intensified competition. “With the A6, we are now renewing an important model series,” said Döllner. Like the new Q5 and A5, the new A6 Saloon is also based on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC), and integrates the latest E³ 1.2 electronics architecture providing modern connectivity, updates and digitalisation features. Elegant and dynamic: exterior design and aerodynamicsThe elegant, reductive look of the new A6 Saloon typifies contemporary Audi design. The curve of the windows’ upper contour is a defining feature of the streamlined body, as is the striking front end with its sleek headlights, prominently positioned Audi rings and large, low-set Singleframe grille. It incorporates a sophisticated airflow concept that makes a significant contribution to the saloon’s drag coefficient (Cd value) of 0.23, which stands as the best value ever achieved by a series-production model with a combustion engine in Audi history. At the front, side air intakes or ‘air curtains’ achieve better airflow and give the saloon a powerful appearance, while two separately controllable cool-air intakes behind the Singleframe grille also channel air as effectively as possible around the engine bay. To harness the full potential of this technology, Audi has optimised the seal between the bumper and the cooling unit, reducing airflow losses in this area by up to 70 percent. A spoiler in the front bumper also reduces front-axle lift and, together with panels on the underbody, ensures controlled airflow under the vehicle. Like the front end, the elongated and slightly upward-sloping rear end also conveys prestige. The two rear lights with their precise graphics and the continuous light strip lend the new A6 Saloon a sense of presence, as does the vertical brake light. The special shape of the notchback also contributes significantly to the vehicle’s outstanding aerodynamics. The sharp curvature of the tailgate and the large, wide diffuser ensure an ideal balance between lift at the rear axle and drag, which enhances driving dynamics. Aeroacoustic performance is also exemplary in the new A6 Saloon. Suppression of noise in the vehicle has been improved by up to 30 percent compared to the previous model, thanks to detail enhancements such as more tightly sealed windows and optimised door seals. Newly developed engine and transmission mount bushings make for a smoother and quieter ride, and the shape of the transmission gear teeth has also been optimised, which benefits the acoustics of the S tronic as well. Even the tyres fitted to wheels of 19 inches in diameter or above have been acoustically fine-tuned by special noise absorbers – foam rings on the inside of the tyre that reduce air vibrations there and thus have a positive effect on noise levels. Digital and personalised: lighting technologyAdvanced lighting technology makes a significant contribution to greater road safety and is an essential part of the Audi DNA. This is evident in the design of the advanced, digitized headlights and rear lights incorporated in the new A6 Saloon, which reflect typical Audi aesthetics and give drivers the opportunity to customise the appearance of their car according to their own preferences. At the same time, the digital lighting display provides innovative functions that improve communication with other road users. As standard in the UK, the A6 Saloon features Matrix LED headlights made up of 48 individual LED segments per headlight. They are characterised by a hexagon-perforated stainless-steel screen that conceals the digital daytime running lights and gives them an even more striking appearance. With a total of seven digital light signatures at the front and rear – several of which are designed as active signatures in which individual segments intelligently brighten up and dim down – the new A6 Saloon offers considerable scope for personalisation. With the coming-home and leaving-home function, individual LED segments are activated at intervals of just a few milliseconds one after the other, creating a new and futuristic-looking lighting sequence even when stationary. Lots of choice: ten colours, progressive wheelsDrivers can choose between 10 colours for the A6, including the solid finish Arkona White. Glacier White, Mythos Black, Grenadine…

For connoisseurs of classic British power, a rare, one-of-352 1985 Aston Martin V8 Vantage ‘Oscar India’ coupé with a factory manual gearbox and X-Pack styling promises a muscular dose of 1980s nostalgia. Other standout auctions include a lightweight 2012 Audi R8 GT Spyder. Just 333 units of the Audi R8 GT Spyder were built, featuring weight-saving measures with various carbon-fibre, magnesium, and lightweight aluminium body components. This is a particularly rare find in the Audi Exclusive colour of Prism Silver, and it has covered just 4,821 km from new. For motorsport fans, Collecting Cars has some treats in store. A limited-edition 1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione ‘S.S. Exclusive 92’, built to commemorate Lancia’s victories in the World Rally Championship is up for auction. And with Goodwood Members’ Meeting just past, all eyes should be on the ex-Keith Holland 1973 Trojan T101 Formula 5000 with documented historic racing provenance. In recent years, it has been restored to a high standard. It is presented in an authentic livery and provenance as it was also a class winner in HSCC competition in 2015. It is ready for more historic motorsport with the FIA HTP included. “Every month brings a wave of new automotive icons to our platform, and April’s selection is a brilliant showcase of what makes Collecting Cars special,” said Edward Lovett, Founder and CEO of Collecting Cars. “From world championship-winning motorsport legends to miniature Jeeps and collector-grade supercars, this is what the global car enthusiast community wants — and we’re proud to be at the centre of it.” With seven-figure Ferraris, vintage BMWs, and even a Mini Cooper S ‘Italian Job’ racing simulator, there’s truly something for every type of collector this month on Collecting Cars. Images are for editorial use only. Ready for every adventure, broadcaster and marine biologist Monty Halls will use a Dacia Duster Extreme mild hybrid 130 4×4 for everything from the everyday school run to off-road support in his upcoming Celtic Dagger Expedition Don’t be fooled – Duster is not ‘just’ another SUV, as rugged styling and option of 4×4 transmission with multiple off-road modes, Hill Descent Control and 217mm of ground clearance takes the class-leading off-road capabilities of the latest duster to new heights Dacia’s philosophy of stripping back to the essentials means Duster has a practical but well-equipped interior, now with more sustainable materials and hybrid powertrains, plus the best value for money in its segment Duster once again proves it’s perfect for those embarking on everything from epic expeditions to life’s everyday adventures The rugged Dacia Duster proves itself as the perfect companion for Monty Halls, the TV adventurer, expedition leader and former Royal Marine, as he strips back to the essentials and tackles not just his most extreme off-road expedition to date, but also daily life in the wilds of his home in south Devon. Monty’s most notable expeditions include leading a multi-national team to the discovery of a sunken city off the Indian coast, four expeditions to Southern Africa, three to Malawi to explore the ecosystem of the lake and investigate poaching activity, and one to South Africa to dive looking for evidence of prehistoric settlements in cave systems off the Cape. For his work, he was awarded the Bish Medal for services to exploration by the Scientific Exploration Society. Now, Monty, no fool when it comes to conquering challenging terrain has singled out the Dacia Duster as his everyday adventure companion. Taking to the roads for the school run through to his upcoming Celtic Dagger Expedition, the Duster Extreme mild hybrid 130 4×4 is the ideal choice. As part of the Celtic Dagger Expedition – an archaeological marine mission on the West Coast of Scotland – Monty and a team of divers will explore the coves, beaches, and hills where specialised military training took place in the 1940s. Significantly, the team who will take an additional Duster for the journey, will be the first ever to dive the shallow seas where the first amphibious landings were practised. The Duster will also be used to support his Big Blue Bag project, which Monty launched in 2024, to encourage people of all ages and experience levels to collect essential data on marine health on British shores. The Duster’s 217mm of ground clearance and tougher exterior design supports its credentials as the ultimate ‘go-anywhere’ vehicle – ideal for daily family commitments and for anyone from the beginner adventurer through to experts like Monty. It’s class-leading off-road abilities are enhanced with 4×4 transmission combined with Hill Descent Control, plus the latest technology to maximise safety and comfort. Monty Halls commented: “As with every expedition, never losing sight of the essentials is key to its success. Duster ticks all the boxes to conquer everything from the school run to rough terrain and any challenge we face. Whether that’s day-to-day life, planning, or tackling the wild and remote Highland landscape, Duster will be by my side.” ENDS ABOUT DACIA:Born in 1968, then relaunched by Renault Group from 2004 across Europe and Mediterranean countries, Dacia has always offered the best value for money cars by constantly redefining the essentials. Humanity, warmth, precision – BMW HypersonX creates unique soundscape for the Neue Klasse

Images are for editorial use only. BMW Group Sound Design Studio develops all-new sound concept for the next generation of BMW vehicles slated for launch from 2025 BMW Operating System X enables drive sounds tailored extremely precisely to the driving situation at hand in Personal Mode and Sport Mode Immersive spectrum of audio effects augments the emotionally engaging, holistic user experience provided by the new BMW iDrive Note: This press release is a 1:1 copy of the original issued by BMW headquarters in Germany. No adaptions have been made to cater to the UK market. Munich. As it pulls back the curtain on a new era in 2025, fuelled by the all-electric Neue Klasse models, BMW is creating a holistic driving and user experience that breaks genuinely new ground. One of the elements of the far-reaching BMW Panoramic iDrive concept is the new HypersonX soundscape. Developed by the BMW Group Sound Design Studio, it comprises 43 sound signals and special driving sounds for Personal Mode and Sport Mode. The multi-dimensional spectrum adapts the sounds precisely to the driving situation at hand and, in so doing, creates an emotional interaction between the driver and their vehicle. This new stage in the evolution of the automotive sound experience has been made possible by the technological advances in hardware and software brought by the Neue Klasse. The revolutionary BMW Operating System X and a newly developed control unit pave the way for an innovative audio architecture. This allows the overall experience offered by the Neue Klasse to be perfected at an acoustic level, as well as in terms of vehicle character, driving experience and functional range. A new dimension in drive sounds: distinctive and precisely honed.“The unique sound spectrum of HypersonX plays a major role in giving a Neue Klasse model its own, highly distinctive character acoustically. Through our focus on precision, warmth and lightness, we can create a direct emotional connection between the driver and their vehicle,” emphasises Renzo Vitale, Creative Director of Sound Design BMW Group. In both Personal Mode and Sport Mode, the drive sounds focus on the essentials and are inspired by tones from nature and structures from the worlds of art and science. HypersonX has fewer basic notes than the sound experience previously employed. But at the same time, the acoustic spectrum has grown to include a new dimensional level. This gives the sound more “colour”, depth and precision, and it embodies more than ever the pleasure of driving for which BMW is renowned. One of the main elements underpinning this capability is the audio control unit developed for the Neue Klasse, which enables a significant expansion of the dynamic range. Added to which, the spatial modulation of the drive sound achievable in the Neue Klasse ensures that the vehicle occupants are thoroughly immersed in the soundscape generated by HypersonX. Under acceleration, for example, the vehicle gives the impression of moving between different three-dimensional layers of sound, thus transporting the feeling of speed and BMW-typical driving dynamics authentically into the cabin. Humanity is a central design element of the welcome sound. As well as intelligent reduction to the essential elements, the human aspect played an important role in the development of the soundscape for the Neue Klasse. The middle and lower frequency ranges of the BMW HypersonX sound spectrum have been brought to the fore to create a well-balanced acoustic ambience. In conjunction with intuitive operation, precisely adjusted light effects and homely interior design, this gives those on board a fine sense of wellbeing. A choir made up of BMW Group Design Studio employees brings voice – in their respective native languages – to moments of driving joy, infusing the welcome sound with a particularly empathetic flavour. Carefully isolated elements of these recordings enhance the overall composition of the welcome sound to excellent effect and treat the driver to moments of joy and human warmth. BMW HypersonX gives the sounds for the Neue Klasse an expressive and distinctive, but also understated and sensitive feel. To this end, more than nine million sound instances based on BMW’s sound DNA were generated using a new algorithm. At the BMW Group Sound Design Studio, these were then filtered into a brand-typical essence that in turn generates a cohesive and multi-dimensional acoustic experience. The result is a sound that creates an emotional connection between human and vehicle in all driving situations and brings a positive, congenial and inviting aura to the acoustic presence of the Neue Klasse.
